1 BRAND VIDEO + 10 VIDEO CLIPS + 50 PHOTOGRAPHS
4 HOUR SHOOT DAY
This quick and cost effective photo/video package is a special offer to my local community. It’s ideal for a new small business wanting to introduce themselves, or for an established organization to refresh an existing digital library with an efficient half day shoot.
Brand Video: One 1 minute video highlighting the story behind your business. This will likely include an interview with the most suitable person to tell the story of your brand, with correlating imagery and music.
Video Clips: Ten 4-8 second stand alone clips that could work as a header on your website or for social media content.
50 High Quality Photos: The content of these photos can vary based on your needs and what we can fit into the 4 hour shoot day. Examples include portraits, team photos, product photography, service demonstrations, candid event photos, interior/exterior, etc. These will be high resolution photos suitable for web or print.
Creative Planning: We’ll schedule a one hour creative planning meeting ideally at your space so that we can scout around. We’ll discuss aligning the shoot day hours with the vision for your brand, and work together to clarify what will be most important to capture to tell the story narratively and visually. We’ll go over things like the schedule for the shoot day, interview questions, who needs to be there, styling, and what you should do with your hands while being photographed. Don’t worry, no one knows.
Example of the way a 4 hour shoot could be utilized:
Hour 1 - Equipment/interview set up, and 20 minute sit down interview
Hour 2 - Candid video footage of space, employees interacting with customers
Hour 3 - Photograph portraits of founders & team members, and interior of the space
Hour 4 - Photograph a few key products, capture drone footage of exterior
Post Production & Delivery: The brand video will be delivered as a rough draft within 14 days of the shoot date. You’ll be able to provide one round of feedback on the narrative content, imagery, music, etc. I’ll implement your notes and send a color corrected, audio mastered final video within one week from receiving feedback.
The photos and video clips will be edited, color corrected and delivered with the final brand video.
The total fee for creative planning, location scouting, equipment use, shoot day costs, and all post production editing is TBD. This special deal strictly applies to small businesses and individuals within the Columbia River Gorge. A 50% deposit is due by the day of the shoot, with the remaining 50% due when all files are delivered.
If you’d like to add other components (for example 30 more minutes of shooting a special event on a separate day, or a 15 second version of the brand video), we can discuss the additional cost depending on the request.
A key assumption is that we will shoot these videos with natural light, giving all the content a polished, documentary style feeling. However, a few factors could accrue added costs that would vary from project to project. For example, if your space is especially dark or you’d like to do some specialized product photography that would require a pro-lighting setup.
I can provide a quote for any additional requests.
I’ve been a photographer and filmmaker for almost 20 years. I went to the Art Institute in Seattle, and lived there until 2024 when my husband and I made the long anticipated move to White Salmon. I grew up in a tiny town in northern Wyoming, so it feels like coming home to live in the beautiful Gorge.
I’ve enjoyed getting to work with huge companies, but my favorite thing by a mile is collaborating with small businesses and individual artists. It’s a different thing entirely to work with people who have followed a dream and started something on their own.
Something I do well is making a small footprint by using natural light, and being a one-woman-band acting as a camera op, director, audio engineer, etc. The less crew and equipment, the more comfortable the person in front of the camera is. It’s hard to be the subject, and it’s important that you feel at ease because that’s how truth and heart show through.
